Tom Jones: It's Not Unusual: Decca Records, 1965.

Tom Jones (born Thomas John Woodward),  a Welsh-born singer, made this his signature song. As is reported in Wikipedia, the song was
first recorded by a then-unknown Tom Jones after having first been offered to Sandie Shaw. Jones recorded what was intended to be a demo for Shaw, but when she heard it she was so impressed with Jones' delivery that she declined the song and recommended that Jones release it himself.

The record was the second Decca single Jones released, reaching number one in the UK charts in 1965. It was also the first hit for Jones in the US, peaking at  no.10 in May of that year. The single was released in the US on the Parrot label and also reached no.3 on Billboard's easy listening chart. Jones used this song as the theme for his late 1960s-early 1970s musical variety series This Is Tom Jones

It's Not Unusual
ByLes Reed & Gordon Mills

It's not unusual to be loved by anyone
It's not unusual to have fun with anyone
but when I see you hanging about with anyone
It's not unusual to see me cry, oh I wanna' die

It's not unusual to go out at any time
but when I see you out and about it's such a crime
if you should ever want to be loved by anyone,
It's not unusual it happens every day no matter what you say

You find it happens all the time
love will never do what you want it to
why can't this crazy love be mine

It's not unusual, to be mad with anyone
It's not unusual, to be sad with anyone
but if I ever find that you've changed at anytime
it's not unusual to find out that I'm in love with you
