David Oistrakh: Bach Violin Concerto

This is David Oistrakh [1908-1974] playing the Bach Violin Concerto in A minor, first movement. For those interested, the second movement is here, and the third movement here. Oistrakh, a famous Soviet-era violinist, was born into a Jewish family. He received recognition inside and outside the Soviet Union, particularly after the Second World War, when he was allowed to travel internationally.
