Jacqueline du Pré: Saint-Saëns' Allegro Appassionato

Jacqueline du Pré performs Camille Saint-Saëns' Allegro Appassionato in B minor, opus 43, which Saint-Saëns composed in 1875, making this a Romantic-era piece. A young du Pré is here accompanied on piano by her mother, Iris du Pré. (You can compare this performance to that of Gregor Piatigorsky here.)
