Duke Ellington: Take The A Train

Duke Ellington and his Orchestra perform the jazz classic, "Take the A Train," which Billy Strayhorn composed in 1939, it soon becoming Ellington's signature song. This clip is taken from the American film, Reveille with Beverly (1943). You can also hear versions of this song by Ella Fitzgerald here and by Dave Brubeck here.
