Study In Late Evening Light: No. 1

City Night Views

Continuing my study of light, you will find below a series of three photos taken from the same place (my sixth-floor balcony) on Tuesday September 2nd in the evening, as the sun was setting, beginning the period of twilight before entering its darkest stage, known as dusk. The photos were taken, focused on a western exposure, at 7:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. Sunset here in Toronto was at 7:52 p.m., and the end of civil twilight, or dusk, at 8:21 p.m.

At 7:00 p.m.

At 7:30 p.m.

At 8:00 p.m.
